Strand Fjordhotel

The rooms vary considerably in size, style and quality. Some are very large whilst others are small, some are in really exceptional condition whilst others could undoubtedly benefit from renovation. Most do at least enjoy some of the finest fjord views in Norway and many have balconies or terraces. The restaurant is located upstairs from the lobby and has windows all along one wall looking out over the water. The hotel consists of three buildings which have been knocked together and interconnected. The overall impression is of a traditional property, though much of the structure is in fact quite new. The lobby is small and friendly. This hotel could not be better located being right on the waterfront and the overall impression is favourable, but there is no doubt that some of the rooms are substandard for its category.
